A comprehensive list of tools to implement the Anticoagulation Management System (AMS)
This project was funded under grant number U18 HS15830 from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The CRHA believes that ISO 9001 quality principles can serve as a framework to develop a system of care that will improve the quality of healthcare in the Cedar Rapids area. Specifically, the CRHA seeks to:
-
improve communication,
-
facilitate establishment of care pathways and safe practice interventions, and
-
enhance the continuity of patient care in our community.
The Cedar Rapids Healthcare Alliance provided training to healthcare and other non-healthcare entities about ISO 9001 principles. The training was provided in seven 2-hour sessions for executives, four 3-hour sessions for staff, and one 2-day internal auditor training course. Some of the training materials are provided below.
